TAN Verification

Perform the following steps to ‘Know Your TAN’ on e-Filing portal:

1. Logon to ‘e-Filing’ Portal https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

2. Click on 'Know TAN Details' hyperlink from the 'Quick Links' Section.

3. TAN Search can be performed based on Name or TAN.

4. Choose the 'Category of Deductor' and 'State' from the dropdown

5. Enter the 'Name of Deductor' or 'TAN of Deductor' as applicable and enter the 'Mobile Number'.

6. Click 'Continue' to receive the OTP in the entered mobile number

7. Enter the OTP and click on 'Validate' button to view the TAN details
