Amendment of section 115AC.
38. In section 115AC of the Income-tax Act, in sub-section (I), in clause (a), after the words "specify in this behalf, the words "or on bonds or shares of a public sector company, sold by the Government" shall be inserted with effect from the 1st day of October, 1996.
