Description
he Central Board of Direct Taxes has extended time for filing returns from 31.07.03 to 30.09.03. This will enable taxpayers e-file returns for assessment year 2003-2004. Details of e-filing scheme will be announced shortly. Extended time will help taxpayers obtain PAN before filing return of income, as quoting PAN on return of income is mandatory.
