Bonds of REC and NHAI notified

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has notified the bonds of Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC) and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for exemption under section 54 EC of the Income Tax Act, 1961. It has also issued an order under section 119(2) (c) extending the time limit for making the investments under section 54EC.
