In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 295 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) bearing S. O. No. 734(E) dated 23rd August, 1995, namely :--
