In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (iv) of clause (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following modification in its notification [No. 9890 (F. No. 197/117/95-ITA-I], dated 5th October, 1995, notifying Tagore Society for Rural Development, Calcutta, the words and figures "Assessment years 1991-92 to 1993-94" shall be substituted by "Assessment years 1996-95 to 1996--97".
