In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (b) of the Explanation to section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government, on the recommendations of the National Committee, hereby approves the institutions specified in column (2) of the Table below and specifies the eligible projects and schemes and the estimated cost thereof as mentioned in column (3) of the said Table.

(ii) Construction of hostel building for economically weaker sections with staff quarters at Bhagirathi Valley School, Uttarkashi, likely to cost Rs. 10.44 lakhs.

(iii) Construction of Rural Primary School in Village Sarai Mohna, District varanasi, likely to cost Rs. 9.50 lakhs.

(iv) Construction of Gynaecology Ward in Sanjiva Hospital, Village Sarai Mohna, District Varanasi, likely to cost Rs. 19.10 lakhs.

2. Lupin Human Welfare and Welfare project relating to entrepre- Research Foundation, neurs' development, strengthening of 159, CST Road, Kalina, existing artisans and introduction of Santacruz (East), handicrafts in villages located in Bombay-98. Bharathpur District of Rajasthan to the extent of Rs. 70 lakhs.

3. Bhorula Charitable Trust, (i) Construction of rooms in Primary/ 1, Prabhu Dayal Marg, middle school, Churu District, Samgamer Airport, Rajasthan to the extent of Jaipur-11. Rs. 11.30 lakhs.

(ii) Repair and maintenance of school, Churu District of Rajasthan to the extent of Rs. 1 lakh.

(iii) Construction of Prabhu Kuteers in 80 villages of Churu District of Rajasthan for carrying on deve- lopment programme for women and child development to the extent of Rs. 60.60 lakhs.

4. Cancer Care Fund Medical College Construction of second phase of Can- Hospital, cer Hospital at Kottayam, likely to cost Gandhi Nagar, Kottayam, Rs. 45 lakhs. Pin. 686 008.

5. Bharat Sewa Sangh, (i) Bharat Sewashram Sangha Prana 211, Rash Behari Avenue, vananda Centenery Shikhyatan, Calcutta-19. likely to cost Rs. 226.89 lakhs for promoting education of tribal and backward children in tea garden area at NAZIRA (Assam).

(ii) Bharat Sevashram Sangha Medical Aid Programmes in Assam, Nagland and West Bengal, likely to cost Rs. 92 lakhs through mobile chartiable dispensaries in rural areas of West Bengal, Nagland and Assam. -------

This notification shall remain in force for a period of three years in relation to the assessment years 1993-94, 1994-95 and 1995-96.
