Grievance Redressal Mechanism providing complete contact details for receiving grievance petitions of taxpayers in the West Bengal Region.
Grievance petitions are received through the following mechanisms –
1. Local paper grievance petitions are received by the following offices:
- Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim, Ayakar Bhawan, Kolkata, 1st Floor, P-7, Chowringhee Square, Kolkata-700069.
- Office of the Regional Grievance Officer, Ayakar Bhawan, Ground Floor, P-7, Chowringhee Square, Kolkata-700069.

2. Paper grievance petitions received from the Board
The grievance petitions of this region addressed to the President of India, Prime Minister of India, Ministers, DPG, DARPG, Revenue Secretary, CBDT, Chairman of CBDT, Pension Cell, Delhi, etc. are received by the Board and forwarded to the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, West Bengal & Sikkim, Kolkata for redressal.
3. CPGRAMS (Centralised Public Grievance Redress And Monitoring System)
The grievance petitions filed online by the taxpayers of this region through the PG Portal are received by the Board and are forwarded online to this grievance wing for redressal.

Besides these, the taxpayers also submit their grievance petitions before the concerned Commissioner of Income Tax of their jurisdiction.
