In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (v) of sub-section (23C) of section 10 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies Guru Gobind Singh Foundation, for the purpose of the said section for the period covered by the assessment years 1967-68 to 1978-79 and 1981-82. The Foundation has been granted exemption for the assessment years 1979-80 and 1980-81, vide Notification No. 3508 dated 1-7-1980.
