Other senior officers of the department and of local administration, as well as eminent citizens and taxpayers attended the function. With a view to enhance transparency and to facilitate the candidates, the keys to the questions papers of all the Objective Type Subjects are being uploaded. The keys are available for each of the four sets viz. Set A, Set B, Set C and set D for the following papers.

The certified copy shall be made available by the concerned CCIT/CIT (Examination Incharge) only. Before providing certified copy of the result, the concerned CCIT/CIT (Exam. Incharge) are requested to verify the eligibility of Partially Qualified (PQ) candidates w.r.t. the number of Attempts and earlier Subject Exemptions. Similarly only those SC/ST candidates, who have earlier qualified the Departmental Examinations, either under the old pattern or the new pattern with relaxed standards, are eligible for availing Betterment Chance. The date of declaration of result is 28/12/2011 for all purposes.

Due to unavoidable changes in the itinerary of the Honorable Finance Minister, Government of India, the inauguration of Direct Taxes Regional Training Institute campus at No 17, Jalahalli, scheduled to be held at 5.30 pm, on 18.12.2011, has been cancelled.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has not shared details of 18 individuals found to have stashed illegal funds abroad in LGT bank accounts.
